Hi all
I have a solid shape with a hollow cavity of irregular form.
Can I get the cavity's volume and can I use this irregular shape to create an identical body to fill? Thanks

RE: volume stats

Can you create a multi-body part where the irregular form is used as the profile for the fill? The body could then be saved as a separate but associated part.

cheers

Thanks CBL for the tip
I can play around with the cavity option on the mold toolbar. New stuff for me. Thanks again

RE: volume stats

Another maybe simpler way might be to create a zero offset surface of the cavity and then turn it into a solid.

cheers
