BOM-subassemblies

BOM-subassemblies

BOM-subassemblies

(OP)
Hi all,

I have following question :

I have main assembly MA which contains SA1, SA2, SA3 ....
This subassemblies SAx contains parts and assemblies which I need in BOM.

I do not want have in BOM SA1, 2 ... but their components.

I also set BOM type to flat and filter to
asm.mbr.type != assembly

but ... there is the situation, when I need in BOM the subassembly and not their components.

Is there a way how to do it ?
(with the assistance of parameters and filters)

thank you for every help

RE: BOM-subassemblies

If your top level assy doesn't have too many parts, the faster way is to remove them manualy from the BOM list.

If this is not the case, then you can add a parameter (you can choose a boolean type) to all components (using mapkeys) and then filter your BOM with this parameter insted of the asm.mbr.type

Thanks Hora,
I added new parameter to both - assembly and part,
which drives the showing in BOM.
