Callout Precision

Callout Precision

(OP)
Any idea how to change the precision on a callout? I'm new to SE and I can't get the Mass to show anything other than 0.0Kg in the title block, when it should be 0.013Kg. I'm sure there's a way, but I can't figure it out.

Paul.

RE: Callout Precision

Paul,

use %{Mass/@3|R1} the digit after the '/@' specifies the number
of digits to show

FANTASTIC. Thanks DY. That's just the job bigglasses

RE: Callout Precision

Hello Dy, do you have a summary of codes that I can use in callout?

RE: Callout Precision

Hi,

besides those found within the callout panel I found only the
one already given: /@n. This will work only for those items
that are defined as numeric. When using it in conjunction with
a Custom variable make sure it's defined as numeric otherwise it
won't work.

RE: Callout Precision

Hi,

found some more, excerpt from SE Help "Create Property Text"

[...]

Including Other Text Properties
To use the date and time in property text, use the following basic format:
/@<date/time format>  Click here to see additional information on available
formats for date and time components.  You can customize date and time
display using the following format:  %{propertyName/@DateTimeFormat|link}
For example, to display the exact time a file called Lea.asm was created,
you can use the following:  %{Created/@yyyy/MMMM:dddd-hh_mm,ss.tt|Lea.asm}

You can use property text to control the number of decimal places in numbers.
For example, to set a number to display 4 decimal places, use the following format:
%{PropertyName or CustomPropertyNumber/@4|ModelRef}

You can choose not to display default units for physical properties.
To omit units from the property text display, use the tag /NU as follows:
%{PhysicalPropertyName /NU  | R1}
