(Hey, the forum topic doesn't say "English". It says "language". But if you think I should post this on the civil, structural, bridge, or welding forum instead, let me know.)
Anyone know of a good technical dictionary for Italian construction terminology? Particularly need bridge terms and welding-related stuff.

Chiunque sa di buon dizionario tecnico per terminologia italiana della costruzione? O bisogno specialmente termini del ponticello y termini relativi a soldadura.
The phrase above is almost a direct translation of your query from the AltaVista Babel fish English into Italian.
With AltaVista and a good technical dictionary English/Italian I think you will be in conditions of understand and be understood. I have one advantage over you my native language is from Latin origin and for that, is maybe easier to me the understanding of Italian language

Regarding Babelfish, here's my original post back from Italian to English:
The subject of the topical one does not say "English". It says "the English language". But if thoughts I would have here to send this on the civilian, structural, ponticello, or preferibilmente on the topical one of the welding, left me saber. Anyone knows of good technical dictionary for Italian terminology of the construction? Or need especially terms of ponticello y the relative terms you to soldadura.

HgTx,
No big differences are related on two volumes.
The difference is that are pubblished by different Editors. the two dizionari are very similar. Personally I prefer the McGraw-Hill.
This third edition of McGraw-Hill is based on sixth edition of original american edition.
It is implemented by the new terminology related to the new technologies (nanotech, genomic and so), further updated from new tech development.
The dizionario inglese by edigeo is new (2004 ed).
About welding terminology in italian language, see the standard UNI EN 12345 edition 09/1998, where you can find Multilingual terms for welded joints in Italian,English,French and german language.
