How to change Lengend Scale of Deformation Contour Plot in ANSYS?

How to change Lengend Scale of Deformation Contour Plot in ANSYS?

How to change Lengend Scale of Deformation Contour Plot in ANSYS?

(OP)
Hello, all,

Can any expert tell me how to change the Legend Scale of Deformation Contour Plot in ANSYS?

Also, when I made some transient animation, the resolution is much worse than the contour plot for each individual time step. Any hint to fix it?

Thanks a lot.

Jerry

Jerry,
The scale can be adjusted using the /CONTOUR command.  Very easy to use look it up in the help.  As far as animations go what's your screen resolution?  I've never had any problems with animations and their quality.

Thanks Brian for the /CONTORE command.

The resolution fot my PC is 1024x768. WHen I made animation, I use: PlotCtrls->Animate->Over Time->Animation Frames #:250; Time Range: 0~1 sec; Auto Scaling: on; Animation Time Delay: 0.5 sec.

Like I said, when I made the contour plot for each individual time step, the plot's resolution is good and model surface looks very smooth. But in the animation, the model surface looks quite "rough".

Tried to increse the frames #, but did not really change.

Regards.

Jerry
