RE: can we save any drawings as pdf also?

I have just run into the same problem, but am not sure if Solid Edge Version 19 allows a "save as" PDF. How abouts are you saving dwg files as pdf? Thanks for your help.

File ----> Print ----> name of printer

if you have adobe you would be able to to save as a .PDF  file.

Hi,

when you have installed SP2 for V19 you should find a new
printer within Start --> Settings -> Printer. It is named
'SolidEdge Velocity Printer' or the like. Just use this
as Printer to save as .PDF. It's a virtual printer so it
will create a file

Thanks guys, turns out we havn't updated our service pack. And updating to SP4 fixed this saving as PDF problem. (we were used to having to print things off as a 8.5x11 and scanning in a hard copy as a pdf. waste of time, thanks huge for the tip all.
