NX4 - Datum CSYS mating issue

NX4 - Datum CSYS mating issue

NX4 - Datum CSYS mating issue

(OP)
Hi all.

We like to use Datum CSYS to mate components in our 'variable models' assemblies.
In NX4, everything goes well (add component > mate > datum CSYS selection) until
we want to delete a mating condition of a component and mate it again in a new position : then the Datum CSYS of the component is not available anymore for selection !
Did I miss something here ?

Thanks for the help.

RE: NX4 - Datum CSYS mating issue

You may have to do one of two things.  Either make sure that the datum csys has been added the Reference Set that you are using for the component in your assembly, or else replace the current reference set in the assembly with the 'entire part' one.

Thanks, John, but I'm already using the 'entire part' ref. set. ... :-/
