Can somebody shed me some light as to why Sap is assigning some sort of dead load to my very simple 2 plane model? I am getting a reaction at the support even when there is no dead load assigned in frame static loads or load combination. I am analyzing that frame for wind load but I am still getting this unwanted reaction. Is there a default setting.

RE: Default Support Reaction

When you define the load cases, you must set the self-weight muliplyer to 0. Or when you define the material, you can set the weight (not the mass!) to 0.

thanks a lot Notman, that explains it. Looks so simple, but I have to make this SAP results match my common sense.
