Is it possible to Pattern a Decal?

Is it possible to Pattern a Decal?

Is it possible to Pattern a Decal?

I have a small round cord that would hang around someones neck.  I was wondering if there is a way to pattern a decal along the entire length of the cord.  I wanted to put my customers logo along it.

Thanks

RE: Is it possible to Pattern a Decal?

pattern the decal in something like photoshop or GIMP and the apply this single decal to the whole cord.

RE: Is it possible to Pattern a Decal?

I did this a while back on a jump rope cable--do what rfus says and generate a long bitmap file in an image editor.  Applying the single bitmap file is generally simpler than applying lots of decals.

Use the mapping options to get what you want (Normal to View, Cylindrical, etc.).

No, I don't think you can pattern a decal (at least I've not seen any options for such a thing).
