How to scale all dimensions in an AutoCAD 2004 drawing?

How to scale all dimensions in an AutoCAD 2004 drawing?

How to scale all dimensions in an AutoCAD 2004 drawing?

(OP)
Hi, I am a regular user of Solidworks but am a complete novice using AutoCAD 2004. I have tried to use the help funcion to solve this but don't seem to be able to do exactly what I want.

I have a drawing of a component that is in scale but unfortunately appears to have every dimension multiplied by 5. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to divide all the dimensions on the drawing by 5 but leave the actual drawing size and the size of all text exactly the same as it is now?

Or do I need to go through and change each dimension manually?

Any help gratefully received.

Type DDIM and change the scale factor

Great, thanks for your help.

Sixmillionways-to expand your knowledge, instead of the DDim command, goto the DIM STYLE->MODIFY->PRIMARY UNITS folder-> MEASUREMENT OF SCALE -> change value to .2.
Since you have used the DDIM command, that value of .2 should already be there.
