Resolving Links after changing drive letters

Resolving Links after changing drive letters

(OP)
Greetings - Is there any way to globally change the reference drive letter for all parts in a project to resolve the links? Every part has to be resolved, and only difference in the path is the drive letter. I dumped all my files on my laptop, and created the same directory structure except the drive letter. Thanks in advance - using the old 5.3 version.
Peace -Dave

RE: Resolving Links after changing drive letters

Unfortunately, no I don't believe there is a way to globally change a drive letter. When you resolve all the links though, save it and you shouldn't have to do it again. But, when you take them off your laptop and put them back on your server or desktop PC you'll have to do the same again.

I am not sure if v5.3 has "Pack n Go" or not. Anytime you need to move files from one directory to another, or from one PC to another, this tool is used to maintain the links regardless of where the files are put.
