Planes

Planes

(OP)
I cant seem to get my reference planes that I create to be visible when setting up my assembly template.  I set up a part template and they are visible.  I dont see anything in the annotations settings option to make these visible.  I have annotations displayed checked in my feature manager.  Im not even sure why they are visible in my part template, but, thats what I want.  Any suggestions?

RE: Planes

In the assembly file you want to use as a template, you'll need to right-click each plane in the design tree and choose "Show".  The icon for the plane in the design tree will become yellow-filled instead of black-outlined.  Then, click View and make sure "Planes" is selected.  Then save as an assembly template.

RE: Planes

What I might be telling you may be similair to handleman's suggestion...but you may need to check ON 'Display Shaded Planes' under Tools/Options/System Options/Display-Selection. You can change the transparency under Tools/Options/Document Properties/Plane Display. Hope hat helps.
