changing the X,Y,Z plane of existing catpart

(OP)
Hi,

I have a part and its absolute origin (X,Y,Z planes) is not where I want it to be, can I change the origin of the catpart without re-creating the part from scratch?

thanks,

RE: changing the X,Y,Z plane of existing catpart

You cannot move the XY, YZ, ZX planes.  You can either translate your entire geometry from one point to another.
Another option is to create a new axis system where you want it and then set it as current.
