Urgent help required as I have to learn this by tomorrow. I'm quite a beginning with inventor so don't get to0 techie
I Have created many files and have empty folders ready for them but I can't work out how to get the files into the appropriate folders

I assume you have the "many files" stored on your C: drive and you want to put them on a server? If so, then just copy and paste them into the correct folder. Whenever you try to access any of the .idw's, .iam's, and .ipn's you'll have to direct the program to the new location(s) of the respective model(s).

Need a little more detail on what exactly you're trying to do.
