How to split Revision Table

How to split Revision Table

How to split Revision Table

(OP)
Hello Friends,
I need to split a revison table which is having A-Z revisions.
Need to split A-K and L-Z.
Any idea?

Thanks,
Murugan.S

RE: How to split Revision Table

If you can't get the option from Right mouse button on the table and select split, then its a limitation to the table.

I suggest make sht two your rev sheet. Add your table there. On sht one, have a note in the rev table area saying "see sht 2".

RE: How to split Revision Table

You cannot have two revision tables on the same sheet in Solidworks.

If you are keeping track of revisions with a PDM or you change the name of the drawing to include the rev, you don't need to keep all of your revisions list on your drawing, since your system records each revision for you.  My recommendation is only show the 5 more recent, ever.

Also, just a reminder, ASME Y14.5m-1994 says not to use the letters I, O, Q, X, & Z as revisions. :)
