Trouble with Constraints.

Trouble with Constraints.

Trouble with Constraints.

(OP)
I have imported a Connector for an assembly from the MFG web site.  I imported IGES files and they came in ok.

I added it to my assembly, but cannot select any part of it during the asssembly constraints function?  Ran into this multiple times now.  Is it a problem with the file?  It imported as a Design BODY, not a surface.?

What should i be looking for?

RE: Trouble with Constraints.

Right-Click on the sub-assembly: activate.
Then try again to create assembly relationships.

You can make the 'activate all parts' setting default in the File/Open (asm) dialog box.
