Cold Pressure Welding

Cold Pressure Welding

(OP)
Hello, i'm new here. I'm working in a cable manufacturing factory. I just want to ask where to get a cold pressure welding machine. For your information, i need it to weld the copper wire as small as 0.13mm. Please advise. Thank you

RE: Cold Pressure Welding

Cold welding is generally performed with presses of different types. However for fine welding as you say, maybe that ultrasonic welding is more appropriate.
If you are interested, a Google search will provide you with the names of a few manufacturers.
Describe to them your applications and check the answers.

RE: Cold Pressure Welding

Try Kulicke & Soffa for ultrasonic wire bonders. I've used them with aluminium and gold wire, but not copper although copper is definitely an option. I think at the size wire you are looking at it will be a wedge bonder you will need.
