May I know the standard response time of brake kits to stop the motor?

RE: Standard stop time of brake motors

Air operated, really fast.
Thrusters, really slow.
Others, in between.

RE: Standard stop time of brake motors

I think waross is giving you response times for the brake mechanism.  Since a friction brake develops braking torque, the actual stop time will be determined by the load inertia and speed.  In other words, a heavy fast load will take longer to stop than a light slow load.
