Varrying resource availability for a single task

Varrying resource availability for a single task

Varrying resource availability for a single task

(OP)

I have a number of engineers which are working on various tasks and projects. In particular, I want to be able to schedule single tasks where the engineer is initially working on them only 50% of the time and then later on, is able to work 90% of the time.

Now I thought this was handled by the following:

- Select View Resource Sheet
- Select resource
- Click on resource info
- In the Resource Availability table, list the date
range that the engineer is available 50% of the time
and then on another line, list the dates where the
engineer is available 90% of the time

However, when I set this up and schedule my task,
(which covers both the 50% & 90% date range), project
only considers the first entry and schedules
everything from there on out at 50% for that resource.

Any suggestions?

I know I could work around it by going into the calendar
and editing each day to show only 4 hours and then 7.6hrs
available, but thats not the most efficient way of
going about this.

Thanks,

Nicola
