Mailmerge Excel to PDF

Mailmerge Excel to PDF

Mailmerge Excel to PDF

Is there a method or programme which can be used to mail merge information from excel to forms or fields in PDF?

I have a list of 50 landowners with various bits of information attached which has to be input into a standard PDF document and it seems rather heavy typing in each of 20 fields in 50 forms.

This is more a PDF question but couldn't find a forum for just adobe or PDF - is there one?

Cheers. Sean.

RE: Mailmerge Excel to PDF

You can export the data to Microsft Word, do a mailmerge to the document, then print it to a pdf file.

Are you saying that you can do a mailmerge from word to PDF?

If not then I am stuck because the PDF form is an existing one in PDF format. The transformation from PDF to Word would, I guess, loose the look of the form and therefore it would be unusable - standard government forms (Norwegian).

Thanks.

Cheers. Sean.

Go to http://www.mlin.net/MCL.shtml and download MCL.  Then write a macro that will copy items from the excel spreadsheet and copy them into the PDF form.  If you would do the same keystrokes for every form, the macro can be used to repeat all of those keystrokes.

Google "excel to PDF".  A lot of offerings out there.  Likewise I use PDF to excel software and it has saved me a lot of typing.
