Printing the inserted photo along with the rest of the drawing

Printing the inserted photo along with the rest of the drawing

(OP)
I have a photo I've inserted as an underlay, and need it to show up in the plot along with the line-work I added on-top. All in model space. I did this regularly back around ACAD-2004 time frame, but am using 2006 now, and can't remember my setup. Any suggestions?

Tks-

RE: Printing the inserted photo along with the rest of the drawing

One issue with combining images and linework, is that the image covers the linework. Send the image to back using Tools->Draw Order -> Send to Back. click on the image, and it will drop to the bottom, showing any linework above it. Another quick trick I use is to select all the linework using a crossing window, but not the image, then move it from the endpoint of a line to the same point (not moving it at all) this causes Autocad to redraw that linework on top of the image.

Hope that helps.

RE: Printing the inserted photo along with the rest of the drawing

turn on image transparency and lines will show through
