Can't select sphere to add assembly constraint

Can't select sphere to add assembly constraint

Can't select sphere to add assembly constraint

(OP)
Hi.

I'm trying to add offset and surface constrains to a spherical part, but Catia doesn't allow me to select this part, or any other curved surfaces in the assembly.

I had this type of constrains added to the sphere earlier and there was no problem defining those.  Then, I removed the existing constrains only to decide that I accually really did want them.  But this, the second time, Catia just won't let me access curved surfaces.

What might cause this problem?

..I'm experimenting with different global scalings and I just discovered that I can access curved surfaces, only if I use the original geometrical scale.

The problem still remains though.  Especially since the constraints become non-valid when I change the geometrical scale.

All other aspect of the scaling works perfect, none of the other constrains cause any problems.
