get liquid accumulation height?

get liquid accumulation height?

(OP)
in cosmos floworks,
there is an inlet on top and an smaller outlet on the bottom of an vertical cylinder.how to get liquid accumulation height when it balances by gravity?(flow rate on inlet equals to outlet)
is it a time dependence problem or a steady state problem? should i give the balance period to floworks manually?
sorry for my poor english, any suggestion appreciated!

RE: get liquid accumulation height?

Hi,
unless Nika has developped FloWorks A LOT (but really a lot...), I fear this kind of problems are completely out of reach for FW (as it is for the majority of low- / middle-class CFDs).
It's not a matter os time-dependent vs static analysis: the problem is that the quantity of liquid changes, meaning that you need at least a variable mesh, if not a birth-and-death algorythm...

Regards
