WELDMENT END CAPS

WELDMENT END CAPS

WELDMENT END CAPS

(OP)
Just started playing with the weldment features.  Much to my surprise, the end cap feature does not appear in the cut list other than a blank line.  I am told by our support guys that this is a "feature" of both SW 2006 & 2007.

Has anyone figured out a work around other than manually typing in the size and etc?

If not, I would think sticking in a structural plate would be the safer and faster way to go - which makes the cap features pretty much useless.

By the way, I just found out the same is true for sub-weldments - no cut list information.
