I am hunting for the standard(s) that covers supporting conduit from process piping. The facality that I am working at standard says not to support conduit from the process piping but it is done anyway. Help me find the standard/code for this item

RE: Conduit supported by Process Piping

The only thing that I can tell you, is that you won't find that rule in the NEC.  The NEC prohibits the use of conduit to support other piping, but does not say that you can't support the conduit from the other piping.  There may be mechincal codes that say this and it is a good practice to provide indpendent support for the conduit.
