A SECOND QUESTION

A SECOND QUESTION

A SECOND QUESTION

(OP)
Is it possible to show components of an assembly in multiple positions  on a drawing

i have a table set up showing the object swinging from 0 to 90 degrees in 45 degree increments i would like to show it at its end position and intermediate position on the drawing

RE: A SECOND QUESTION

Assuming NX3, or higher, you will be able to accomplish this using Assembly Arrangements.

paul

unfortunately this is nx2

any suggestions

RE: A SECOND QUESTION

You could add the assembly to the drawing, if using master model format, multiple times and just reposition it as needed.

RE: A SECOND QUESTION

Never used NX1 or NX2, but (just) looking at NX2, Assembly Arrangements are available.

RE: A SECOND QUESTION

How do you want to show it on the drawing; 1 view per position, or maybe all positions in 1 view with it shown in dashed line font at the extreme positions?

RE: A SECOND QUESTION

at the drawing level you could do multiple explosions and save the view of it you want then add that view to your drawing.
