Anyone runing a Spaceball with SW 64 bit?
(OP)
I've just been told that 64 bit versions of SW07 aren't compatible with the 4000 or 5000 Spaceballs - has anyone else heard of this or shed any light?
When was the last time you drove down the highway without seeing a commercial truck hauling goods?

RE: Anyone runing a Spaceball with SW 64 bit?
We discontinued Serial (RS232) support on windows in Nov ’06. This includes the SB4000 which is serial only and the Serial version of the SpaceBall 5000. Also, we never supported any serial device on 64bit windows. So, the USB SpaceBall 5000 is supported on 64bit, but not the serial version.

SpaceExplorer seems to work just fine on my XP64 box. No stability issues even with enormous models.
Using the cute little SpaceNavigator with my 32bit laptop and it actually works great. Perfect for anyone who doesn't actually program and use all the buttons on the SpaceExplorer...and way cheaper.

So is anyone using a USB Spaceball 5000 out there on 64bit SW?
