Attaching symbols to cells in excel.

Attaching symbols to cells in excel.

Attaching symbols to cells in excel.

Hello,

Hopefully someone has a quick answer for this question.

I have a table, its actually a symbol legend inserted into an AutoCAD drawing. Does anyone know if there is a way to actually attach the symbol picture to the cell?

In some cases I do not require a certain symbol to be shown so want to hide the row it's on, so when the WMF picture is attached to the cell the symbol picture will also be hidden.

Thanks
Dan

Sorry about previous message - did not make much sense!

Bascially I just want to attach a picture to an indivdual cell in excel.  Can this be done?

RE: Attaching symbols to cells in excel.

Ther is a INSERT > PICTURE command, if that is what you mean.

Yes Insert > Picture is fine however I want the picture to be attached to a specific cell.  If I then want to manipulate that cell the picture moves with it.

RE: Attaching symbols to cells in excel.

When you RIGHT CLICK on the image, you can FORMAT the picture for various things including MOVE WITH CELL.
