Datum Targets

Datum Targets

(OP)
Has anyone attached a datum target to a part with dimensions such that they can change things and have the dimensions and target move together?  I don't care which way the associativity works, so long as it works.

RE: Datum Targets

I usually add points to sketches on the part, then make the targets on the dwg coincident to them.

ctopher,

That is what I have done.  The datum targets do not track the dimensions, although the dimensions ought to track the sketch.
