Relocating Dimensions

Relocating Dimensions

Relocating Dimensions

(OP)
I have two questions about the relocation of dimensions in drawing mode.

1. How can I move a model dimension from one view to another?
2. How can I move a model dimension to a different location within the same view? For example: I have a view which shows 2 fillets which are the same feature in my model. I would like to move the dimension from one to the other within the same view.

Thanks,
Dblcrona

RE: Relocating Dimensions

1) Copy > Hold Ctrl while dragging the dimension.
Move > Hold Shift while dragging the dimension.

2) You can't ... delete and re-dimension, or change the selection order in the model.

cheers

1. That works great. Thanks a lot.

2. I already tried to delete and re-dimension it but it put it back in the same place. What do you mean by changing the selection order in the model?

Thanks,
Dblcrona

RE: Relocating Dimensions

The order in which the edges to be filletted are selected.

cheers
