I am looking at purchasing a scooptram with a Deutz F10L 413W engine.

What are your thoughts regarding fuel consumption, housepower etc..?

Thanks,

RE: Professional opinion requested

I think I would pay attention to the amount of ventilation that is required, and get the smallest horsepower engine that meets your mucking requirements.

Thanks for the advice minerminer. My current scoop has an older detroit engine...I'm hopefull the deutz will be a lot less smokey. Ventilation will certainly be upgraded.
