Are there any trial programs on nuclear plants or even steam plants out there.
Also are there any reasonably priced home version simulators out there.
Steam or nuke plant, either one
Thank you

RE: Nuke plant simulator program

A simple google search on nuclear plant simulator came up with a number of hits.  Never having used/played any of them, I can't speak to their accuracy.  However, anything simulated only through use of a computer is not very realistic.

RE: Nuke plant simulator program

I'm 12+ years removed from nuclear, but i used codes such as RELAP, ARROTTA, NESTLE, SIMULATE, Etc. in college.  The Studvik company may be able to help you, but I doubt any of their software is available for a trial or "home versions."

Try this link

In order to obtain the simulation program(s),download the acknowledgment for the simulator. The completed form should be sent to the competent official authority (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Atomic Energy Authority, or to the applicant’s Member State Permanent Mission to the IAEA in Vienna, Austria) for transmission to Mr. J. Cleveland, the International Atomic Energy Agency, P.O. Box 100, Vienna International Centre, A-1400 Vienna, Austria.
