Adding Attribute link text to general text note?

Adding Attribute link text to general text note?

Adding Attribute link text to general text note?

(OP)
I have a set of notes on my drawings, but would like to add some attribute linked text within the notes...like a part number, material, etc.
Do I need to create a special type of note or can I simply add a link within the text note, where I want that attribute link text to be inserted?

Can this be done?

Thanks,

RE: Adding Attribute link text to general text note?

No special note required. Double pick text, Contextual menu over the text box in display window --> Attribute link, now go to the 3d model and select parameter or basically what ever you are linking.  Where the cursor is at in the text box is where the linked information will appear.

Regards,
Derek
