Anybody who can help me?
ASTM A276 and A479, What is the differences?

RE: ASTM A276 and A479, What is the differences?

I can give you the ASME equivalents;

ASME SA 240 deals with heat resistant chromium and chromium-nickel stainless steel plate, sheet and strip for pressure vessels. The product from from this specification is used to either clad pressure vessel base materials or fabricate the vessel wall. In other words, this material is suitable for pressure retaining capacity.

ASME SA 479 deals with bars and shapes (angles, tees and bars), not pressure vessel plate, for use in pressure vessels. If you can review the Scopes for each specification, this will provide you with enough information to compare between them.
