INVENTOR - Break Out View

INVENTOR - Break Out View

INVENTOR - Break Out View

(OP)
I use Inventor for 2 weeks... and I used CATIA and Solid Edge for few years... so ... I wonder...
in Draft mode, in Inventor... when I use Break Out View... is it possible to select (or unselect) parts not to be included in intersection...(for example Fasteners... I don't want them to be hatched)

Thank you in advanced

I don't know if this is what you want but the only thing I know to do is right click on the hatch(s) and hide hatch.

RE: INVENTOR - Break Out View

Coboco,

I don't know which version you are using (I am using v8) so I don't know if this has changed or not. If it has it is most likely just in a different location. If you select the veiw from the model tree, and RMB, there is an option that apears in the flyout menu called "Show Contents". LMB Show contents. Now if you expand the veiw in the model tree all of the components in that view will be listed. RMB on the parts you don't want sectioned and uncheck "section".
