Animator in 2007

I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to go to get a tutorial on how to us animator?

I have search the forums but really haven't found what I need to know. I have never used animator and don't know where to start. I have to make a presintation for my boss.

RE: Animator in 2007

Have you already gone through the built-in Animator tutorials in SolidWorks?  (Hit the little Home icon near the upper right corner of your view-port,then Online Tutorials, then SolidWorks Animator.  It's a good start, and the Help files and other posts here can fill in the rest for most of what you'd need to do.

Thank you, I looked right past it.

RE: Animator in 2007

I found the Animator Guide CBL linked to at SolidWorks to be helpful, though it is an older version of SW.  It helped me understand what could be done with the photoworks filter, and what could be done through the normal filter.  The Help files will definitely help understand the key points, cameras, mates, and things like that.
