Flexible Pavement Design - Solve for Structural Index

Flexible Pavement Design - Solve for Structural Index

Flexible Pavement Design - Solve for Structural Index

(OP)
Hello to all compentent autors..

I am working on a pavement design for an aterial highway and of course I need to determine the structural index to get the asphalt layer thicknesses.
I must say I am not a friend of using design charts, in particular for this amount of work.
Unfortunately I am not a crack in excel or access but what I am looking for is a spreadsheet were I can enter all relevant varaibles and get the structural index ...

I would appreciate if someone can provide me with a link or a ideally a spreadsheet for AASHTO flexible pavement design

Regards
Bartz

67sun,

You should probably start a new thread for your request.

67sun,
You might want to look at the design portion of the Autoban web site. The history behind this roadway is amazing. Think about it a 28" base with a max 1% slope, no wonder one can fly down the road.
This is how Eisnhower came up with the interstate sysytem here in the states.

Namdac
