PVC degradation - resources?

PVC degradation - resources?

PVC degradation - resources?

(OP)
Hello,

I'm after a primer on PVC degradation, in particular dehydrochlorination. Is anyone able to recommend any good texts, literature on the subject?

Regards

RE: PVC degradation - resources?

I believe this specific subject was discussed on this same forum a while back at http://eng-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=103611&page=8.  As far as primers, I believe many  references to some extent discuss various forms of degradation or aging of plastics (I know one, that at least discussed this among many other subjects about a quarter century ago was "Plastics vs Corrosives" by Raymond B. Seymour, who I think by then had held many positions in major chemical industry and academia).

RE: PVC degradation - resources?

Yes, he posted this in another forum as well.
