Loft profile question

Loft profile question

Loft profile question

(OP)
How do you loft from a profile to a curve normal to the profile? For example suppose you wanted to loft an air plane wing or a butter knife. You have a series of cross sectional profiles but the ending profile is a curved line on a plane normal to the rest of the loft planes.

RE: Loft profile question

Are you trying to loft a closed profile to a single open profile?
You may have better luck lofting between open profiles, say the top and bottom of the wing, and then knitting the surfaces.

Take a look at the Boat Hull Lofting and Chopper Tank demo at http://www.podcastblaster.com/directory/podcast-5138.html

cheers
