Rhino to CAD assemblies
Rhino to CAD assemblies
(OP)
Hello all,
it works well to get a solid or whatever
from Rhino to Solidworks (or other programs,
for example via iges or 3dm - but I still have the problem that everything imported will always have its point of origin at "world zero", so what I get is say 30 single parts
of what used to be a sensible model or assembly in Rhino,
and have to shove them around in Solidworks which is
a dreadful affair and sometimes near impossible.
Is there any way via any format that would allow
me to get things into the software with their object origins
where they bloody belong ?
Thanks MUCH,
Michael
