Sheetmetal Flat State Problems

Sheetmetal Flat State Problems

Sheetmetal Flat State Problems

(OP)
Does anyone know if it's possible to rename the flat state of a sheetmetal part when you save a copy of the fully formed part with a new name ? The problem is that I save a copy of an assembly with is drawing (rename_drawings_with_object) but when I try to open the copied drawing there is an error because pro-e try to open the flat state of the part with the previous name.

thanks

RE: Sheetmetal Flat State Problems

I'm just starting out with p.e but this problem can be sorted by creating a 'family tree' where one state is folded & the other unfolded.

RE: Sheetmetal Flat State Problems

Allain,

You can rename the instance "in session" and then make a "save as" of the generic and it's drawing.
