Is this training good enough for the real world?

Is this training good enough for the real world?

(OP)
Hey guys,

I am planning on getting trained to become an industrial robotics programmer.

I found this website www.motomancourses.com on the internet and was wondering if the skills that are included in the CIRP program they offer would apply in the real world.

Thanks.

RE: Is this training good enough for the real world?

TK7,
Motoman is a leading manufacturer of Robotics equipment and the training they offer is specific to their products. Any training in Robotics is going to look good on a Resume! If you have prospective employers that utilize specifically “Motoman” equipment or you’re considering employment with Motoman as an Eng. or Field Tech. then have at it, otherwise you might consider www.retstechcenter.com or some other Tech. School where you can get exposure to a diverse range of products as well as build a foundation education on which to build your career.  Good Luck!!
