copy views to a second sheet?
(OP)
I have a two-sheet drawing where one sheet will be the raw casting and the other is machining dimensions. I've spent a fair amount of time developing datum targets and detailed views on one sheet. I would like to copy those views to the second sheet. Can this be done or do I need to do it over?

RE: copy views to a second sheet?
I understand your caution, thanks. Two drawings would require two part numbers and the associated spec work and we generally don't do it that way. Not saying it's right or best. In this case the casting and machining are the same supplier so should not cause confusion.
Any suggestions on creating the second sheet views and datum targets without starting over?
RE: copy views to a second sheet?
Save your drawingunder a new name (you can do this in ProE or just COPY-PASTE of the drawing in windows and change the name)
Open one of the drawings and merge the second one.
Remove unnecessary pages.
