Louver finishes
Louver finishes
(OP)
I have been using baked enamel finishes for recent jobs, but it has come to my attention that baked enamel is not holding up very long. Any suggestions as to an alternative? I'm relatively new to this process, and do not know any other alternatives.
Thanks

Take the "V" out of HVAC and you are left with a HAC(k) job.

Depending on your application -- epoxy may be suitable and usually is less cost

I was specifying a baked enamel finish and had repeated failures. It turns out what I was getting was a spray paint finish that is air dried. I guess for some spray painting and then drying in in a slightly warm room = baked.
I think what you're expecting is an electrostatic finish that is oven baked. That may or may not be the standard method your manufacturers are using.
