WinCe stable?

WinCe stable?

WinCe stable?

(OP)
I'm starting a project useing Windows CE on a pxa270 processor. Will wince run for months without having to
reboot or does it work like most of the windows OS's I have seen? Any hints or things to watchout for would be
appreciated.

RE: WinCe stable?

Probably depends on what's running.  I've had my Dell Axim, which runs Windows Mobile 2003 for about a year and a half and have rebooted maybe 4 or 5 times.

RE: WinCe stable?

We have been running an HMI application using windows CE for a while. It has been pretty stable once a few problems with the application were debugged. No reboots in about 2 years. Comms to the Schneider PLC has dropped out and restarted automatically a few times but without any noticeable detrimental effect in our application.
