Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the draft/proposed B31E code.

I understand it was part of a report from the ALA.

Thanks

RE: B31E

Hi Kevin,

B31-E  is not "a part of" any other document.  It is a "stand alone" ASME document that has NOT yet been approved through the ASME standard review and approval process.  Therefore, it is not available to the public.

The B31 Code (MDC) is close to issuing this guide (B31-E) for seismic design of piping systems (and restraints), but in the interim this might be of interest to you:

You might try posting your question on the COADE Caesar II discussion board as a lot of B31 Committee members seem to hang out there.

Regards, John.
