A357: DENSITY AT 680-710¦C

(OP)
Hi,
in order o correctly fill a furnace I need the real value of A357 alooy density when it is melt (2.7 Kg/dm3 is the value for the solid state).
There are some value or some diagram that can shows this phisical quantity?
Thanks,
Michele

PS: I need some info about :
- maximum acceptable value of H2 after degassing of A357 aluminum alloy (? cm3/100g);
- relationship between H2 microporosity and elongation failure on A357 alloy.
Someone can help me?

Thanks a lot

RE: A357: DENSITY AT 680-710¦C

Hi Mixel

From a thermodynamical database computations here what you want:

bettwen 680 and 710 °C :
T°C     density (Kg/M3)
680    2402
690    2399
700    2396
710    2393

best regards
