How can I get drawings of parts made in Frame?

How can I get drawings of parts made in Frame?

How can I get drawings of parts made in Frame?

(OP)
I’ve made an assy of a skid, I’ve used the frame function. The part list is working excellent. The problem is that I need individual drawings of each component the frame function has generated. The way I do this today is to save each component and then I have to generate the drawing from that part files. I don’t think that this is the right way to do it.

I looked it up in SE help...didn't know it existed. Not sure its useful to me but interesting. And from Dy's post not worth using till V19 anyway, 'eh?

Hi,

You can also make a drawing based on the asm file and show only the frame member you are interested in : Model display setting before view creation or RMB/Properties after; then 'display' tab : select all the frame members and unchek 'show' then select the one you want (the button with glasses will help your selection by highlighting the selected part on the view) and click 'show'.

This way, your view shows only that piece of the frame. If you create other views with 'principal view', they will inherit the same display settings.
