Combo state drawing views

Combo state drawing views

Combo state drawing views

(OP)
hi folks,

i could've sworn this was what i was looking for, but i'm not seeing it. what i want is an iso view on a drawing showing a combination of no hidden/wf and shaded parts/subassys. however, i can only get views showing fully shaded or with a mix of wf/nohid/hid. am i missing something in the combo state dialog? the alternative is to screen cap from the model view and paste an object, but i want the view to be parametric.

TIA

RE: Combo state drawing views

Ed,

I've tried setting up a combined state with shading and HLR on different components, and using that state in a drawing view, and it doesn't seem to work. I think this is a bug.

i can't get it to work either. although, ptc doesn't explicitly indicate the two functionalities (combination display states and shaded views) can be used together in drawings, i was just making the common mistake of "assuming". and we all know....well, you know. bigsmile

thanks for the help tho john.
