Here is another one. I am in v5 drafting and would like to make a sequence of 8 tangent lines as in v4. So when I select it, it is recognize as one element. Does anybody knows if it is possible to do so in v5 ?

Thanks

RE: v4 to v5 *seq

Are you talking about making an octagon around the perimeter of a circle?  If not, what are the 8 lines supposed to be tangent to?

Him
what I have is a square with fillets. so total of 8 lines and continuous in tangency, not tangent to something else. Do you know about any equivalence to *seq in v5 ?

thanks

RE: v4 to v5 *seq

Draw a Rectangle under the Profiles toolbar, then under the relimanations toolbar, double pick the corner icon and fillet the 4 lines.

Derek

RE: v4 to v5 *seq

AUTO SEARCH is the V5 equivalent to V4's *seq command.

Inside a sketch: select the first line, right-click, slide down to Object and select Auto Search to select all the sequential geometry in "one" click
